When you move from a well-lit area to a dark area, the luminescent fabric on the underside will glow, switching the camouflage pattern from the camouflage on the front side to the camouflage on the underside. If you are exposed to strong light, the camouflage pattern will also switch to the camouflage pattern on the underside. The lining is made from Komatsu Materiel's semi-transparent fabric called Aquadima, so it is moderately transparent. The strap uses a Fidlock magnetic buckle. The strap can also be quickly released by using the D-ring at the end of the magnetic buckle. There is a D-ring at each end of the belt, and a tape loop on the front side, so you can customise it with keys, accessories, etc. as you like.
